Teaching in the International Classroom Training
This training allows EUR-lecturers to develop a critical and comprehensive view of both their own role and the university’s role in the internationalisation of education. Developing such a view entails much more than simply fostering ‘cross-cultural awareness’.
Amongst others, participants will discover how local practices can contribute to a globalized world in a way that empowers students, teachers, and whole communities alike. The training also lets its’ participants rethink the premise under which international education in the West takes place in the first place.
Participation is offered for free to all teaching staff of EUR (including those of its’ institutes) that are eager to make their courses more accessible for an international audience, and that are willing to share their experience of teaching in the international class-room with colleagues
