The world's top athletes and thousands of runners from home and abroad ran the Rotterdam Marathon last Sunday. Among them were 500 students, staff, and alumni from Erasmus University Rotterdam. Check out these times!
We might be a bit prejudiced, but the Rotterdam Marathon is a spectacular run. If you're a really fast runner you might want to run it in 2:04:27 – the fastest time ever at the Rotterdam Marathon. Or in 2:06:04, as Marius Kimutai did this year. But the very best were the runners from the Erasmus University Charity Run. As they did not only run, but also raised an awful lot of money for charity.
Among the 480 Erasmus runners that took part, the fastest man was Achim Siller (3:11:47), and the fastest woman was Emma Leygnac (3:31:30). They are both Rotterdam School of Management students. Congrats guys!
Erasmus Charity Run Celebration
On Thursday, 13 April, it was revealed at a special celebratory event that we raised a stunning €31,171. Wowsers!
