Alzbeta Bartova is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Public Administration and Sociology of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Alzbeta's research interests lie in the area of comparative family policy, gender equality, social demography and life-course research.
At EUR, Alzbeta was involved in the ERC funded project ‘Families in Context’ where she examined the relationship between private and public support in the context of intergenerational solidarity.
Alzbeta received a PhD in Social Policy from the University of Edinburgh. In her research, she investigated the association between maternity and parental leave entitlements and fertility behaviour in 27 European countries.
