Dennis Broeders is professor of Technology and Society at the department of Public Administration and Sociology of the Erasmus University Rotterdam and a senior research fellow at the Netherlands Scientific Council for Government Policy (WRR), an advisory body to the Dutch government within the Prime Minister’s department.

His research broadly focuses on the interaction between technology and policy, with specific areas of interest in cyber security governance, internet governance, surveillance and Big Data.
