Profile

Sebastian Neumann-Böhme is an IQCE Research Fellow and works as a researcher and PhD candidate at the Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management. His research focusses on the formation and importance of reference points in (health care) decision making and the broader field of behavioural and experimental economics. 

Sebastian studied social economics at the University of Hamburg and Temple University in Philadelphia. He continued his education at the Hamburg Center for Health Economics, where he received an MSc in Health Economics & Health Care Management. Before starting his PhD he worked for a large management consultancy in Germany, working for clients in the public and the health sector.

It is funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie grant agreement No 721402.
