Career opportunities for Pre-master Global History and International Relations
After completing the Pre-Master, you can apply for the Master Global History and International Relations. This programme will jumpstart your career as a historian or researcher. But after graduation, you can also work as a manager or researcher at cultural institutions, government authorities, consultancies, archives or in the media.
Historians are often hired as a journalist, or as a policy maker for local or international organisations, museums and heritage institutions. Because historians from Rotterdam will know how to relate contemporary social and political issues to long term developments, they will be able to produce short or long term visions on international processes. A quality that is much sought-after in different jobs, companies and fields.
