Why study Pre-master Global History and International Relations
For those who want to study Global History and International Relations, but do not meet all entry requirements, we run a pre-Master programme. The programme offers admission to the master Global History and International Relations.
It is possible to follow the programme full-time (one academic year) or part-time (two academic years).
During the pre-Master programme, you will enrol in selected courses of the Bachelor History. You will become acquainted with cultural, social and economic history and with the history of international relations. You will take some methodological courses as well, preparing you for the Master’s programme. You will improve both your academic skills and historical knowledge in such a way that you are ready to start the Master in Global History and International Relations.
The pre-Master teaches you to think in an academic way. This means that you will critically study historical and contemporary issues. You will also learn to write essays and papers and you will learn the practice of historical research. By the end of the pre-Master you are ready to apply your academic knowledge and skills in your bachelor’s thesis.
