Management of International Social Challenges is not just a bachelor programme, but something that you want to be identified with.
The programme of Management of International Social Challenges exceeds the boundaries of building academic knowledge and helps you to develop a character and an attitude, necessary for your future career. Combined with the opportunities that Erasmus University provides, it creates an excellent experience that is not only joyful, but also extremely useful for a professional path.
Our courses are designed to help us understand, analyse, and manage recent and still relevant events, processes and systems. We focus on an event which has happened recently, and we place it in a theoretical framework. How can we explain it? Has this happened before? How do you tackle it? Our learning goals are built on these questions. Consequently, the programme examines what we would do in the future and provides an opportunity to apply theory to practice, and the other way around. In some courses we take on the role of future “administrators”, “counsellors”, “managers” or “diplomats”.
Classes are formed of small groups of students. This facilitates a deeper understanding of the topic. In addition, this teaching method contributes to building incredibly valuable relationships with both tutors and fellow students. These relationships enhance our mentality and joint goal to learn as much as possible during the three years of the Bachelor’s programme. Our professors and tutors always help us outside the classroom. They motivate us and give us opportunities to explore questions that go beyond the given information. Besides that, they give extra lectures about relevant literature and events.
All of the above elements make the MISOC programme and its students unique. Genuine interest in each other and a fundamental goal to help those who are less fortunate than us create a bond and a spirit that is beyond measurement. Management of International Social Challenges is not just a Bachelor’s programme, but something that you want to be identified with.
