The interesting thing about the content of this Educational Sciences master’s programme is that it links societal issues with processes in the classroom and with individual pupil’s learning. What does the growing social, ethnic and cultural diversity mean for schools and teachers? What are the consequences of the growing emphasis on testing, resulting in teachers teaching to test? Students will learn how developments in society impact on education. In addition, the small group work and activating methods we use have proved to be very engaging and effective for our students so far.
