There is a lot of information coming your way, when you become a manager. Finding your way in a complex organisation like EUR is not always easy, even if you have worked here for several years already. This introduction aims to be a stepping-stone for new managers, providing you with a sketch of the context in which you will work and information on various aspects of human resources. In the afternoon, you will be asked to reflect on your role as manager. What kind of manager are you or do you want to be? What are your qualities? How do you use these qualities in your work? This program will be the kick-off of your time as a manager at Erasmus University.
