Bachelor Liberal Arts & Sciences

Is EUC for you?

Our students are self-motivated, academically strong, and desire to participate in their education. Some of our students know exactly where they are headed and want to explore different fields of study on the way. Others have more than one academic passion and aren’t ready to give up on one. In any case, an EUC student believes in an education that is not restricted to the perspective of one academic field. Additionally, EUC students are interested in furthering their personal development through undertaking activities outside the classroom. Students are open-minded and excited to live amongst international peers and learn from exchange with other cultures.

Admission Criteria

You are admissible to our programme if you have obtained or will obtain a VWO diploma or a foreign equivalent to the VWO diploma (for example, International Baccalaureate, European Baccalaureate, German Abitur, or British A Levels). Additionally, since a number of our courses cover mathematics and statistics, mathematics proficiency is vital for success in our programme. Further, since our programme is completely taught in English, English language proficiency is a strict requirement. However, your grades only tell us half the story, we also require you to submit a motivation letter and your curriculum vitae (CV) when applying. A matching interview also makes up part of the selection procedure. Review our specific requirements.

Admission deadlines

EUC only has one intake moment each year, which is at the end of August. Please allow at least 10 business days before deadlines to begin your application process; some steps are out of your hands and require a few days of processing on our side. If you’d like an edge on your application, consider our early application deadline.

For EU and EEA students

For European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) students, we have two deadlines:

  • 1 January 2018 (early)
  • 15 April 2018 (final)

Students from outside of the EU or EEA

Non EU/EEA students mostly require a VISA to study in the Netherlands. The application and processing of the VISA takes time hence we have an earlier deadline for these students:

  • 1 January 2018 (early)
  • 1 April 2018 (final)
