Study spaces Polak Building

The Polak Building has over 850 study places on 5 floors.
All study spaces have power sockets.

  You can also study in Polak's lecture rooms whenever they are not being used for teaching or
  exams. Just check the availability of the rooms with the app EUR Study Rooms.

Mondays to Fridays: 8 a.m. - midnight
Saturdays and Sundays: 10 a.m. - 9 p.m.

1st floor 

study spaces without PC, study spaces with PC, group rooms.

2nd floor             

quiet study places, study places without PC, study places with PC, group workplaces.

 

3rd floor

study spaces without PC, study spaces with PC, group rooms.

Also on this floor: Erasmus Data Service Centre (EDSC), Bloomberg Class, Data Lab and instruction area University Library, Polak 03-20 (Y03-20).

4th floor study spaces without PC, study spaces with PC, group rooms, project rooms (rooms: 4.11, 4.12, 4.16 and 4.17). Also on this floor: information desk University Library and study sections Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences.
5th floor quiet study places

Booking project room

The Polak building has 4 project rooms with a smartboard for students to work on projects and presentations in groups. Each area can accommodate a maximum of 6 people.

Booking conditions for a project room:

  • Bookings can be made between Monday and Friday in 3 hour blocks.
  • Please be there on time! Should you arrive 30 minutes after your reservation time has started, you do not have the right to use the space anymore.
  • Bookings can be made a maximum of 2 weeks in advance.
  • An ERNA account is required to make bookings.
  • 1 booking per ERNA account is permitted every week.
