Focussed Reviews

of happiness research on particular topics

The World Database of Happiness is used for assessing the state of knowledge on happiness in particular fields. Such ‘state-of-the-art’ papers start typically with an overview of questions (‘What we want to know’), next they summarize the available findings (‘What we do know’) and they finally present an agenda for future research (‘What we do not know yet’). Review reports can be shorter than usual, because detail is made available using links to the World Database of Happiness. The database also allows easy periodical updates of review reports
