Secondary Schools

Guidance Counsellors and Placement Officers

As a secondary school counsellor, university placement officer, or independent agent, you may already be familiar with Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR), one of our faculties such as the Rotterdam School of Management, or one of our programmes - our University College, for example. What you might not know is that there are 13 English language, international Bachelor programmes under the EUR umbrella, with an average of 50/50 Dutch and non-Dutch student enrolment in each. We are investing heavily in internationalization and are eager to find great students from all over the world to join us in Rotterdam.

Application and requirements

All programmes are selective, so your students will need to apply and be accepted. Even after being selected, all bachelor students must perform well in their first year to continue in the programme due to the Dutch policy of Binding Study Advice. Read more about Binding Study Advice

  • Specific requirements, particularly Math, vary between programmes, so students must carefully review the requirements for their programme(s) of interest. Find an overview of costs, deadlines, and websites on the Bachelor Programme Overview page.
  • All programmes value the International Baccalaureate diploma, though point and subject requirements vary. We do not offer advance credit.
  • New! Download a cheat-sheet of admission requirements for GCSE, U.S., IB, and Spanish secondary school diplomas.
  • All programmes require demonstrated English language skills. Learn about entry requirements for international students.
  • There may be a scholarship opportunity for your student. Learn about scholarships.
