Renske Jongbloed M.A. currently works as an information specialist at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. She has a MA degree in International Relations, but but also has a background in graphic- and interaction design. Understanding what drives the user is what interests her most.
Her research project "To preach or to practice: bridging the gap between theory and reality in information literacy teaching" focuses on online search skills of both students and researchers. The angle of usability research in the field of information literacy training links her professional interest in information science and her personal interest in usability and UX design.
