International Bachelor Economics and Business Economics (IBEB)
On this page you can find all information regarding the admission requirements, selection criteria and application procedure.
Admission and selection procedure
The application procedure consists of two steps; Studielink and the EUR Applications Portal. When your application has been received, it will be determined whether your secondary school diploma is sufficient for being admissible to the IBEB programme or if you have any deficiencies. Once it is confirmed that you are admissible, your application will be reviewed by the Selection Committee who will decide whether you are offered a place in the programme. Our Programme Board aims for an international classroom with a good balance of different nationalities and educational background. By clicking on one of the yellow buttons below, you can read more detailed information on the admission requirements and selection criteria which apply to you.
Rolling admission is applied by the Selection Committee; each applicant is reviewed individually and will receive feedback on his/her application within six weeks after submitting the application. This means that during the entire application period, which runs from 1st November until 1st May, the Committee keeps track of the number of students who are offered a place in the IBEB programme and their nationality as well as educational background in order to preserve the international character of the programme.
What does this mean to you? It means that the sooner you apply, the sooner you will hear the outcome of your application. This way you avoid the risk that already too many applicants with similar background have been offered a place in the IBEB programme. In addition, receiving early feedback on your application means you can start preparing your studies in Rotterdam earlier; housing, immigration procedures, scholarships, etcetera.
The deadline to apply for the International Bachelor in Economics and Business Economics is 1 May 2017.
