The Post-Graduate LL.M. Arbitration and Business Law Class of 2016/2017 have graduated!
The graduation ceremony was held on campus at the Polak Building, and was officiated by Programme Director and ABL lecturer, Professor Filip De Ly. With friends and family watching, the ceremony kicked off with a welcome and opening address by Professor De Ly as he spoke about recent happenings in the realm of arbitration and the benefits our students have as future arbitration practitioners.
Following this, each student received a personal address regarding their progress and accomplishments, and were handed their diplomas along with business cards and memoirs to keep as a remembrance from the Erasmus School of Law.
For the past 10 months, ABL Students have been working hard to complete their courses and dissertations. We are proud to say that our graduates have acquired advanced and specialized legal training, and are now qualified to work in multinational legal environments, as in-house legal counsel or as attorneys in arbitration and litigation practice.
To our newly minted arbitration and business law experts: we wish you the best of luck in your future endeavours as some of you return to your home countries and some of you continue your aspirations in the Netherlands. It is now time to move on to other challenges and achieve even greater heights. But remember that Erasmus School of Law always welcomes you.
