Co-organized by Erasmus University Rotterdam and Queen Mary University of London, the Policy Roundtable on EU-China Legal and Judicial Cooperation took place in Brussels, Belgium.
This Policy Roundtable was a part of the activities in the context of project ‘EU‐China Legal and Judicial Cooperation (EUPLANT)’, funded by the Jean Monnet Network of the European Union.
The roundtable discussed two highly topical themes, namely the negotiation of the EU‐China Comprehensive Agreement on Investment and the rising importance of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms in China and the EU. Participants included scholars, practitioners, officials from EU institutions, as well as representatives from the civil society, from both China and Europe. From ESL, Prof. Yuwen Li and Dr. Cheng Bian attended the Roundtable.
