Andrea Reina-Tamayo is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Psychology of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Currently, she is conducting research in the field of work and organizational psychology on momentary work engagement. More specifically, she studies changing work engagements and the effect that the tasks, the supervision and the people around you can have on this experience.
Previously, Andrea was in charge of coordinating international recruitment for the high tech region in Eindhoven, the Netherlands at Yacht, a Randstad company. She obtained her Master’s degree in Work and Organizational Psychology at Maastricht University. There, she gained knowledge in Human Resource Management, Work Psychology, Human Performance, and Organization and Cognition.
Throughout her education Andrea managed to simultaneously hold various part-time positions in the customer service and education and academic sector, thus gaining interpersonal and research skills and training in teaching.
