Malte Dewies is PhD candidate at the Erasmus School of Social and Behavioural Sciences at Erasmus University Rotterdam. His research focuses on the use of behavioural insights for public policy.
Malte was part of the Behavioural Insights Group Rotterdam where he collaborated with the municipality of Rotterdam to improve public policy. He uses both quantitative and qualitative research methods to evaluate behavioural interventions (e.g. nudges) in the field and evaluate municipality programmes. His research interests are behavioural public policy and political psychology.
Malte has a background in organisational psychology and completed his master at Mannheim University in 2019. Before, he studied at KU Leuven, Ruhr-University Bochum, and University of Birmingham.
