The editorial board of the Erasmus Student Journal of Philosophy (ESJP) is currently looking for students to strengthen its team.

The ESJP is a double-blind peer-reviewed student journal that publishes the best philosophical papers written by students from the Faculty of Philosophy at the Erasmus University Rotterdam. The ESJP aims to further enrich the philosophical environment in which Rotterdam's philosophy students develop their thinking and bring their best work to the attention of a wider intellectual audience. New issues of the ESJP appear every July and December.

We are looking for bachelor 2 and 3 and master students who are interested in reviewing papers and essays written by their brightest peers. You will join a team that currently consists of enthusiastic students from the Faculty of Philosophy and the Erasmus University College. Joining the editorial board will allow you to gain insight in the process of academic publication and it is a great way to improve your text writing and editing skills. Furthermore, being ESJP editor is also a great opportunity to get introduced to the wide range of philosophical topics that various people in our university are working on.The editorial board consists of both Dutch and international students. The majority of the work we publish is written in English. Therefore knowledge of the Dutch language is not required. Previous experience with editorial work is not necessarily required, an affinity for grasping complex texts is.

If you are interested in joining the editorial board, or if you have any questions, please send an email to esjp@fwb.eur.nl before 31 January 2018. Your application should include a short motivation for applying and CV or proof of experience. More information about the ESJP, as well as previous issues, can be found on the website (https://www.eur.nl/fw/over-de-faculteit/esjp).
