In this double bachelor programme you get a challenging and diverse course load, with subjects ranging from theoretical mathematics to behavioural economics or philosophy. It is this diversity that I enjoy most about the programme as I have always had a broad set of interests.

Erasmus School of Economics has done a good job at combining two bachelor programmes: Econometrics and Economics. A fulfilling mixture of both quantitative and economic courses. In this double bachelor programme you get a challenging and diverse course load, with subjects ranging from theoretical mathematics to behavioural economics or philosophy. It is this diversity that I enjoy most about the programme as I have always had a broad set of interests.

The study load is of course a bit higher than for a normal bachelor programme, but in the end it is well worth it. The students are extra ambitious and create a stimulating environment, making you want to improve beyond what you thought possible before. The double bachelor shines light on how to combine a variety of analytical skills from the econometrics programme with the soft skills from the economics programme.
