I wanted to do something a bit broader and so is the field of Economics. But I was also looking for a bachelor programme where the courses complete each other. IBEB was exactly that! It incorporates Economics and Business Economics courses very well and they also complete each other harmoniously.

When deciding on where to continue my studies, I was advised by both my Economics teacher as well as a friend to choose this programme.
I wanted to do something a bit broader and so is the field of Economics. But I was also looking for a bachelor programme where the courses complete each other. IBEB was exactly that! It incorporates Economics and Business Economics courses very well and they also complete each other harmoniously.
Moreover, the study is divided into blocks, so each block you can focus really well on your subjects. This doesn’t mean that it’s easy though; IBEB requires you to plan your studies well, because it’s quite intensive. But I think that this skill comes in handy when continuing your studies and in your future career.
Besides the study itself, I also really like Rotterdam; it’s multicultural, has beautiful spots like the Kralingse Plas and offers many career opportunities.
And when you decide to study here, take my advice: besides obviously focussing on your studies you should definitely buy a bike! I can’t live without it anymore and it gets me everywhere from the Hague to Delft and back to Rotterdam!
