“Currently I’m working as a PhD candidate and as an advisor for Professional and Trade Associations. In my job, I completely concentrate on what I’m passionate about, namely: the ways in which organisations –but also individuals within these organisations – may or may not achieve success and what factors cause this success. My goal is to be a specialist on innovative collaboration so that I’m able to advise my clients not only on their current issues based on ‘what we already know’ but also based on insights about modern forms of collaboration in ‘the new world of work’.

The insights I have gained through the Master specialisation Management & Organisation nourish my work as a researcher and as an advisor. My research project focuses on the role of governance and organisational actors in innovative collaboration. As a researcher, I obviously greatly benefit from theoretical insights about the dynamics between people and organizations – in the broadest sense of the word. As an advisor I find the knowledge is just as applicable. For instance, I frequently query my clients about governance, trust, mutual expectations and interpersonal relationships.

I am very excited about the Master specialisation and can recommend this study to anyone who wants to engage in the interorganisational and intraorganisational dynamics of companies, networks and institutions. The Master programme will give you the necessary insights and tools in both a multifaceted and profound way. You will be continuously challenged to be critical and to see issues from various perspectives. This is accomplished by offering high quality lectures and literature. Besides that – not irrelevant and quite important – there's a good atmosphere in which cooperation with both students and teachers is enjoyable.”
