Rotterdam has the appeal and feel of a small city, but the benefits and size advantages of a large metropolis. In addition to the consistent series of events and programs put on by the International Office for exchange students, the university's different organisations also hold functions and even host parties at local venues. Living and studying in the International House provided me with a quick transition into student life in Holland and allowed me to meet people studying at Erasmus from all over. The city also has a well-designed tram network, awesome and famous clubs and bars, as well as lots of other great attractions. I hope that I will be able to return to Rotterdam when I am next in Europe and will definitely be telling everyone about my experience.
