I was born and raised in Latvia and lived almost all my life there. However, I traveled to many other countries and studied in France and United Kingdom. The reason why I chose Netherlands and Erasmus University in particular was because of its international background and culturally diverse environment. The other reason was definitely the level of education that can be obtained at Erasmus School of Economics.
I have completed the third year of the IBEB programme and am now doing the Master of Science in Marketing and I have to admit that this is the best experience I had with studying so far. It is both challenging and full of opportunities at the same time. To add to that, I am very much fond of all the events organized at Erasmus University on a monthly and even daily basis. It is possible to find great internships and potential employers for which you do not even have to leave the campus. I can already feel that I am shaping my future here.
