Application for (pre-)master is open for our bachelor students
As of 1 June 2017 the application for the (pre-)master programmes is open for our current students who have already received their bachelor diploma, are about to receive it or are about to finish their pre-master programme. The application period for the (pre-)master programmes runs from 1 June until 1 August.
In order to be admitted to a (pre-)master programme of Erasmus School of Economics you need to have completed all your exam subjects of the bachelor or pre-master programme and all results should be booked in Osiris. If you are planning to re-take exams in July you can indicate this on the application form, in which case the Examination Board will take the grades of the re-examinations into account.
At the moment of application, you do not have to be in possession of the actual bachelor’s diploma. Note: in order to request the bachelor’s diploma you need to be registered as a bachelor student. If you are planning not to re-enroll as a bachelor student next year, you have to request the bachelor’s diploma this academic year via the Student Administration.
If you do not yet, but almost meet the requirements for the master programme, you can request dispensation. You can do so by adding a substantiated request to the online application form in the EUR Admissions Portal. The examination board will decide if you can get dispensation based on your request and study progress. Do not hand in your dispensation letter separately, but upload it with your online application form.
If your thesis grade is not registered in Osiris on 1 August the latest, you need to upload a thesis statement (provided by your thesis supervisor) together with your online application form. This document states that you will finish your thesis by 31 August with certainty. The statement needs to be signed by your thesis supervisor. Your supervisor can download this statement from the webpage for ESE Staff. The Examination Board will check in October whether your thesis grade is registered. If not, you will not be able to register for master examinations. Do not hand in your thesis statement separately, but upload it with your online application form.
The Examination Board will review your application when all your results are booked in Osiris. You will receive an admission decision by e-mail via Studielink. You will not receive any notice by postal mail. Please be informed that the Examination Board uses standard messages for admissions as well as denials. By using standard messages, processing time can be kept as short as possible.
