From this academic year onwards, there is a time limit on writing the thesis. You have to complete the thesis within one year from the moment a supervisor is assigned to you.
If you do not finish the thesis within one year, the thesis supervisor may request the thesis coordinator to stop your thesis. If this happens, you will need to find a new thesis supervisor and a new thesis topic. Note that this rule applies to both the bachelor thesis and the master thesis. Hence, plan your thesis well and work on it regularly. In addition, make sure you are well aware of the rules and regulations regarding the thesis, to avoid any unpleasant surprises during the thesis process.
