The meeting, co-organized by ISS and the International Development Law Organization (IDLO), convened leading academics, researchers and specialists to discuss emerging approaches to rule of law reform and explore the intersection of theory and practice.
The event, Critical Reflections on the 2nd Generation of Rule of Law Reform was held on 12 January 2017 in The Hague.
It brought together experts to discuss developments in the second generation rule of law approach as an alternative to the conventional approaches in law and development intervention.
