‘Challenging inequalities and unsustainabilities: the politics of transformative pathways’
On 13 October 2016, Melissa Leach, Director of the Institute of Development Studies, gave a lecture at ISS for the Dies Natalis celebration.
In her lecture, entitled ‘Challenging inequalities and unsustainabilities:  the politics of transformative pathways’, Professor Leach discussed three defining challenges:
- Reducing inequalities
- Accelerating sustainability
- Building inclusive and secure societies
Her lecture was followed by a question and answer session and a reception.
