As the license for Blackboard expired, Erasmus University Rotterdam set out to find a new online learning system via a European tender. Canvas proved to be the best fit, as it is user friendly and well-structured. More importantly, Canvas has an app!
When?
The whole university, including Erasmus School of Economics, will switch to Canvas by September 2018. However, some lecturers from ESE will start their course in Canvas from January on to be prepared for next academic year. Students might thus encounter two online learning environments at the same time. See the difference!
