  • Every Student for a Day has a maximum amount of places. If this maximum is reached, the Student for a Day automatically closes for further registrations. The sign on the website that a Student for a Day is 'closed' does not happen automatically, but is processed by one of our employees. If the official registration list is closed, you can sign up for the waiting list. Please be aware that you only hear something from us when you are placed at the Student for a Day.

  • If a Student for a Day is closed for registration, there are two possible reasons:

    1. The Student for a Day is not yet open.
6 weeks prior to the Student for a Day, the event is opened for registration. Put this date in your calendar so you are on time for registration.
    2. The Student for a Day is full.
Every Student for a Day has a maximum number of attendees. If this maximum is reached, the enrollment list of the relevant Student for a Day automatically closes. If the official registration list is closed, sign up for the waiting list. Please be aware that you only hear something from us when you are placed at the Student for a Day.
  •

There are calendars for the whole academic year. These can be found at the webpages of the individual bachelor programmes. In these calendars, you can see when an event for this bachelor programme takes place. You can register 6 weeks prior to the event.

  • A Student for a Day is meant for people who are considering a bachelor programme at the Erasmus University Rotterdam, not for supervisors. If you want to take someone with you to the university, sign up for an Open Day instead.

  • After you have registered on the registration list, you will directly receive a confirmation of your registration by mail. We will send you the final invitation in the week prior to the Student for a Day. In the unlikely event that you have not received an invitation 3 days before the start, please contact us at eao@eur.nl or 010-4082252. If you have registered for the waiting list, we will only contact you when we’ve found a spot for you at the activity.

  • We open the registrations for the Student for a Day exactly 6 weeks (unless otherwise stated) before the day takes place. We recommend to note this date in your calendar or remember it in a different way, so that you can register on time. Some bachelor programmes are more popular than others. Therefore, some activities tend to be full sooner so we recommend that you register early.

  • Yes, it happens frequently that we receive a cancellation. If the cancellation reaches us in time, we send the people at the reserve list an invitation. You will only receive an invitation from us if you are placed. If you are not placed, you will not receive any message.
