    John Hauser is the Kirin Professor of Marketing and a Professor of Marketing at the MIT Sloan School of Management. Hauser´s latest research focuses on virtual customer methods, automated marketing, and product development metrics. Virtual customer methods address a variety of modes by which one gathers customer input from the web. He is developing and testing new web-based methods to radically reduce the time lag between customer input and product development response—and with much higher-quality information. His MIT team has developed websites that “morph” in response to customers’ cognitive styles and, in doing so, increase sales dramatically. These methods are now being applied in a variety of areas.

    Dan Ariely is the James B. Duke professor of Psychology and Behavioral Economics at Duke University. Ariely is the founder of The Center for Advanced Hindsight and also the co-founder of BEworks. Ariely´s experiments involve a wide range of topics associated with behavioural economics, such as dishonesty, money management, and decision-making in various industries. We firmly believe that our research is inherently useful – but more so when it can be practically applied and shared with the general population, making it relevant to the masses.
