Biography
Ivonne Derks is a postdoctoral researcher and scientific teacher at the department of Clinical Psychology. Her research is mainly focused on eating behaviors, eating disorders and obesity development in children and adolescents. Most projects are embedded in The Generation R Study, a large population-based prospective cohort study situated in Rotterdam. Ivonne obtained her PhD degree in September 2019 with her thesis entitled “Behavioral determinants and consequences of childhood adiposity” at the department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry/Psychology, Erasmus Medical Center.
