Dr. Bicer is an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management at the RSM as of January 2017. Before joining the RSM, he worked as a Post-doctoral researcher at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (EPFL) in Lausanne, Switzerland. He obtained his PhD in Operations Management from the University of Lausanne, Switzerland. His research interests lie in operational flexibility, supply chain finance and supply chain risk management. He uses methods from optimization theory, stochastic modelling and statistical learning to cast real-world problems into a theoretical framework. He also has an industry experience of 4.5 years in finance and pharmaceutical sectors.
