Back to overview

From 2009 I have been working on my PhD thesis at the Health Care Governance section of the Institute for Health Policy & Management (Erasmus University Rotterdam). From 2009 I have also been working as a healthcare consultant at BMC.
From 2007 until 2009 I worked as an advisor at an organization for home care and nursing homes in Rotterdam.
In 2006 I received my master degree in Business Administration at the Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University Rotterdam).

My PhD thesis is about organizational scale in healthcare. I am doing research on the rationalities and irrationalities behind scale, especially ‘small-scale’ and ‘large-scale’. I am looking for the legitimacy of scale and scale decisions by healthcare executives, professionals, patients and other stakeholders.
The supervisor for my PhD thesis is prof.dr. Kim Putters. My co-supervisor is dr. Hester van de Bovenkamp.
