Keri Anne Pekaar is a PhD candidate at the Institute of Psychology of Erasmus University Rotterdam.
Currently, she is conducting research in the field of work and organizational psychology on emotional intelligence. More specifically, she studies the (behavioral) mechanisms underlying emotional intelligence and the role of situations on the deployment of emotional intelligence.
Previously, Keri obtained her Research Master’s degree in Social Psychology at Tilburg University. where she graduated with a project on photography and autobiographical memories. In addition, she managed to simultaneously hold various part-time positions in the education and academic sector, thus gaining interpersonal-, teaching- and research skills.
