Profile
Marco Gregori is currently a PhD candidate at the Erasmus School of Economics, department of marketing. His research is focussed on eliciting truthful responses to sensitive questions in large scale surveys. For instance, he observes substantial misreporting when people answer questions about voting behaviour in polarizing referenda and elections, smoking during pregnancy, attitude toward LGBT rights, gambling or alcoholism, etc. He is currently developing survey methods where respondents' individual answer is 'hidden', so that they can truthfully answer, yet the aggregate percentage can be estimated. He is generally interested in survey methodology and Bayesian econometrics.
