Nick Verbeek is a researcher at the Erasmus School of Health Policy and Management. His background is in economics and econometrics, both of which he studied at the Erasmus School of Economics. At the institute he is currently working on the practical and methodological aspects surrounding the integration of multiple criteria in health care decision making. Specifically, this encompasses the application of multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) to complex priority settings, with a focus on expensive drugs and integrated care interventions. Furthermore, he is affiliated with the Erasmus Choice Modelling Centre (ECMC, www.eur.nl/ecmc) and involved in the SELFIE Horizon 2020 EU-project on chronic care for multimorbidity (www.selfie2020.eu).
