Renske Verweij is a Postdoctoral researcher at the department of Public Administration and Sociology. Her research focuses on father involvement, and how involvement of fathers relates to intergenerational transmissions of inequality. In this project the focus will be on how genetic aspects in combination with parenting behavior result in inequalities.

In 2019, Renske received her PhD from the Interuniversity Center for Social Science Theory and Methodology (ICS) at the department of Sociology at the University of Groningen. During her PhD she focused on how genetic and socio-environmental factors relate to remaining childless.
