Siri Driessen is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Arts and Culture Studies at the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
She received her PhD 'Touching War. An Ethnographic Analysis of War Tourism In Europe' at the Erasmus University in 2020. Her research focuses on war and memory studies, cultural tourism, and cultural studies. She is currently working on a research project about veteran return trips to Bosnia and is involved with CultSense.
Siri obtained a bachelor degree in History at the University of Amsterdam as well as a BA in Fine Arts. She received a research master in Cultural Analysis (cum laude) at the University of Amsterdam.
