The course combines a more theoretical perspective on the development of funding for research in recent decades with more practical writing skills. During the one day workshop researchers are made familiar with the outline of a funding proposal and its basic components such as context, approach and impact. Participants receive a small assignment before the course and submission of the completed assignment is necessary for attendance. During the one day workshop the researchers also receive several small assignments that are completed in small groups.

The training will be given by Veerle van Laere – Research funding coordinator at RSM.
