Searching for information - advanced
There are various search techniques which you can use when searching for information. Every technique has its pro s and con s, and they all have their matching search engines which suit them best. So, learn about goal driven searching and data driven searching, other search techniques and gathering data like statistical, research and financial data.
Introduction to RefWorks, an online reference manager. It is free of charge available for students and researchers of the EUR, the University Library offers support.
This course introduces the three currently most used data sources to measure scholarly impact: Web of Knowledge, Scopus and Google Scholar, and the metrics available in these sources, like the H-index, the Journal Impact Factor and the SNIP.

Artist Marijn van Kreij has reached the goal of a 1000 tiles! The studio is therefore closed this Thursday 16 and Friday 17 February. A huge thanks for all your energy! As soon as the tiles are baked, Marijn will continue his creation process in the Erasmus Gallery.

Researchers and students who use Bankscope should take notice that Bankscope data from Bureau van Dijk will be no longer available in 2016.
