When you need to find literature on a particular topic, these databases are recommended:

ABI/Inform Complete

ProQuest's ABI Inform Global offers journal and news articles, research, trade- & industry
and country reports and dissertations. It also has a substantial archive.
The information in ABI Inform Global is primarily focused on the US, but increasingly also on
Europe and Asia.

Business Source Premier

The bibliographic part includes indexing and Abstracts for 1.300 scholarly business journals
dating back to 1886. Contains author profiles for the 40.000 most-cited authors. Financial
data, conference proceedings, case studies, reports on investment, industry or market
research.
Economic country reports from WEFA (Wharton Econometric Forecasting Associates). Searching on
company profile (Datamonitor report) is possible.

EconPapers

Gives access to the RePec archives, containing working papers, journal articles, software,
books and book chapters.
The RePec archive is also accessible through Economists

Econlit

International bibliographical database for economists.

Factiva

Factiva contains business information and news from local and global newspapers like the
