The European Accounting Symposium for Young Scholars (EASYS) is an annual meeting that takes place right before the European Accounting Association Annual meeting. It is meant to establish research networks among young scholars. Participants present their early-stage work and obtain feedback in a friendly and constructive environment.

What to expect

The target audience of the workshop is European faculty with the rank of post-doctoral researchers or assistant professors (non-tenured, no PhD students). Invited tenured faculty can attend the symposium, but presentation slots will only be given to non-tenured faculty.

Quantitative research in all areas of accounting

Presented research projects should not be under review / submitted to a journal. Early-stage projects / research ideas without a paper are especially welcome. The symposium focuses on quantitative research in all areas of accounting (e.g., financial, managerial, auditing, and taxation). Please note that the symposium is not related to the European Accounting Association.

Programme

The workshop will be a full-day in-person event with seven 45-minute presentations.

Registration

The registration is by invitation only, first-come first serve. If you did not receive an invitation, but would like to attend, please send us an email.
