Dutch diploma holders

n the Netherlands, a vwo diploma (pre-university education) qualifies you for university entrance. In some cases, there are additional entry requirements for admission to the IBEB programme. On the basis of your application, the Education Service Centre will inform you whether or not you are qualified for the programme. If you are not immediately qualified, you may need to take a supplementary entrance Mathematics test.

The table below gives an overview of the entry requirements for Dutch diploma holders. You are eligible for admission to the IBEB programme if you hold one of the following diplomas and, if applicable, have met the additional requirements.

Dutch vwo diploma with the profiles:
• Economics & Society
• Nature & Science
• Nature & Health

Dutch vwo diploma with the profile:
• Culture & Society

Proficiency in: Mathematics A or B (A1,2 or B1)

Non-Dutch diploma holders

SSecondary education diplomas from foreign countries are not always of the same standard as the Dutch vwo diploma, a European Baccalaureate or an International Baccalaureate Diploma. All non-Dutch diplomas, including a European Baccalaureate and an International Baccalaureate diploma, need to be reviewed by the Admissions Office of the Erasmus University Rotterdam. In some cases, there are additional requirements which need to be met before admission can be given to the IBEB programme. On the basis of your application, the Admissions Office will inform you whether you are qualified for the programme. If you are not immediately qualified, you may have to demonstrate sufficient knowledge of English and Mathematics

If you meet or will soon meet the admission requirements and you have decided to apply for the International Bachelor Economics and Business Economics programme at Erasmus University Rotterdam, you must follow the application procedure.

Send documents to the Education Service Centre ESE no later than 15 May

Apply with the Admissions Office and Studielink no later than 15 May1
