You can download the course offer overviews below.

We will make sure to update this list in case of changes. So, please make sure to always look for the most recent version of the files.

Feeling Orange course is a course in which the different disciplines within ESHCC come together. All ESHCC exchange students will be automatically registered for this course. This course will take place in Term 2 & 4.

Please carefully note the following requirements and restrictions:

  • ESHCC exchange students should follow at least 50% of their total number of courses within their host department (i.e. Arts & Culture Studies, History, or Communication & Media). You also have access to designated courses in other academic fields at Erasmus University Rotterdam based on schedule availability and subject to being approved by the respective programme directors. Please visit here for more information regarding this matter.
  • The minimum amount of EC you are required to take per term is 5 EC. The fulltime (and maximum) workload during the exchange programme is 30 EC per semester (15/17.5 EC per term). Undergraduate (Bachelor) students can ONLY take BA courses. Master students can take MA & BA courses. The level of the available courses is specified in the course offer overview.
  • Courses not mentioned in the course offer list are NOT open to exchange students.

As soon as the registration period opens, you will be able to fill out a form on OSIRIS by going to OSIRIS > Case > Start new case > Exchange > ESHCC Incoming Exchange – Course Registrations. This form ONLY opens during the registration period.

In this form you will be asked to:

  1. Indicate how many courses you want to take per term.
  2. To list at least 4-5 ranked course preferences.
  3. If you have a requirement from your home university to take a specific course: please upload a signed statement from your home university that includes the reason and the course code.

Important notes:

  • We urge you to not use multiple devices simultaneously to access Osiris as it will strain the system and cause technical issues or crashes!
  • Remember to disable your pop-up blocker when opening OSIRIS Case.
  • Via courses.eur.nl, make sure you read the course descriptions and view the timetables to determine which courses you wish to submit as your course interests.
  • Visit timetables.eur.nl/schedule for the course schedules and check that the courses you request (including exams) do not take place at the same time.
  • In situations where the demand for a course is too high to accept all the students who apply, the Studyplans will be processed: in the order they are received (following a first-come, first-serve basis), your home university statement, and the field of your studies (Arts & Culture Studies, History, or Communication & Media).
  • We have a limited number of spots for exchange students per course. Please take into consideration that you might not get your initial preference(s). Therefore, only list courses you would be interested in doing and do not repeat a course several times.

About 1-2 weeks after the deadline has passed, you will receive an email (in your EUR student mailbox) with your assigned course(s). Please be patient; there's no need to email us for when this email comes.
