Coming to Rotterdam

Among students of more wealthy origins during Renaissance and after, visiting the most famous cities of Europe was a common conclusion of their studies. This so-called Grand Tour was thought to make students familiar with European culture. Nowadays things are a bit different. For one thing, one does not need vast personal funds to travel to other universities in or outside Europe. However, great value still is put on cultural development of students.

That is why the Department of Philosophy in Rotterdam is offering foreign students a chance for exchange.
