Disability access campus
Erasmus University Rotterdam strives for an accessible campus and buildings for all students, staff and visitors.
Map of the campus for disabled visitors
The EUR has a special map for disabled people. This clearly indicates which routes and entrances can best be used. The auditorium and exam rooms on Woudestein campus are accessible via a lift. There are adapted toilets in all university buildings.
Parking for the disabled
There are special parking spaces in the parking garages for visitors with an EU disabled parking card. These places are as close as possible to the buildings and exits of the parking facilities. All payment terminals are suitable for wheelchair users.
For students with a (temporary) functional impairment a limited number of lockers is available on campus Woudestein. If you need a locker and can motivate this sufficiently, you can apply at you study advisor via MyEUR. After approval from the study advisor, you will receive a message from team SMF (Disability office) and you will receive the locker key. The lockers are situated in the central hall in the Sanders Building.
There are no special rest areas on campus. Alternatively, if necessary, use can be made of the so-called breast pump rooms or the combined first aid rooms, which primarily have a different function and are therefore not always available.
In addition you can use the silence center for a moment of rest. The silence center is open from Monday to Friday between 7.30 am and 9.30 pm and is located in G Building (GB-35). Outside of Islamic prayer times, it is generally very quiet in the quiet center.
