Welcome new students!

Congratulations, you've been accepted at Erasmus University Rotterdam!
Starting a new course of study always involves a lot of organisation. To make it easier, we've created this website for you. The information on this website will guide you through the steps you should take in order to get you off to the right start. It for example contains all the information about our free pick-up service from Schiphol airport and our four orientation programmes. Please read the information in the left menu carefully and like us on Facebook to stay up-to-date. Below we have highlighted a couple of important matters.
The Dutch experience
This is a central orientation programme for new international EUR students. The programme offers the Dutch language experience, a city trip to The Hague, a sport event, a workshop 'Getting to know the Netherlands', a cultural event and many more activities. It will be a two-week programme, from 5-16 August 2013. More information about the activities, deadlines and registration can be found on the Dutch experience page. Sign up as soon as possible as there is only a limited amount of space! Please note that this programme is not mandatory, but highly recommended.
Handbook
We have compiled a handbook for our new international students. You can download it here.
ESN-Rotterdam
The international student organisation at EUR is the Erasmus Student Network Rotterdam (ESN-Rotterdam). ESN organises daytrips, weekend trips and weekly Social Drinks. ESN can also help you solve any issues you might encounter, so don’t hesitate to contact them.
Other information
If you're looking for information relating to your course of study, you should go to the website of your faculty. This will give you specific information about your study programme, courses, timetables, etc.
The Erasmus Student Service Centre is the central service point for all new and registered students of Erasmus University Rotterdam; kindly visit the ESSC website if you have any questions during your time at EUR. You can also direct your questions to ASK Erasmus.
